Bayern Munich are planning to make several key decisions this summer regarding the long-term futures of several key players in the squad. Leroy Sane will hold contract talks with Bayern after the Euros, while the future of Joshua Kimmich will be sorted later in the summer.

The Bavarian club is also looking to extend the contract of Alphonso Davies. Vincent Kompany wants the left-back to stay in Munich next season. Die Roten will make an improved contract offer that will be close to the wage demands of Davies.

Bayern also want to secure the long-term future of Jamal Musiala. They want to make Musiala the face of the club for the next decade. Musiala’s current deal expires in 2026, but Bayern are ready to reward his consistent performances with improved terms.

Musiala is in no rush to sign a new deal despite being content with life at Bayern. Manchester City are reportedly keeping a close eye on his situation, but Die Roten will not entertain offers for him in the summer. While talking to SportBild this week (via iMiaSanMia), Musiala revealed conditions to be satisfied to sign a new deal at Bayern.

"For me, the coaching decision was important. I want us to play good, attractive football and compete for the title in the league and the Champions League with a good team. I want to play in an environment where there's a good feeling and the boys are happy on the pitch. Because then I can also show my qualities."

Bayern have ticked off the first condition by hiring Vincent Kompany as the new head coach. The Belgian is not an experienced coach, but he has implemented an attractive style of football at Anderlecht and Burnley. He will look to implement a similar style of football at Die Roten with better players in his squad.

Die Roten have been winning Bundesliga titles consistently over the last 11 years before Bayer Leverkusen ended their run last season. Despite winning league titles in the last few years, Bayern have not been consistent on the pitch. They will have to achieve consistency and ruthlessness on the pitch to become the winning machine.

Bayern are always one of the favourites for the Champions League at the start of the season. However, they have struggled to get over the line in the knockout stages since winning the trophy in 2020. Die Roten should aim to go all the way in the UCL next season since the final will take place in Munich.

Musiala is an ambitious young player. His demands to sign a new contract should be music to the ears of Bayern chiefs since they are also striving to meet all those conditions after a disappointing season. They will likely open talks with the young attacking midfielder once he returns from the Euros.
