Match Preview: Bayern Munich eye Supercup win against Sevilla
Predicted Started XI for Bayern Munich
In an ideal scenario, Alexander Nubel should be getting some playing time in cup competitions. However, this is a knockout game with a trophy on the line. Putting too much pressure on Nubel also doesn’t make sense, so Manuel Neuer will feature in the goal for Die Roten as he focusses on winning his second Supercup.
Lucas Hernandez was brilliant against Schalke, but Davies provides just an extra edge in the final third, so Flick is likely to bring him back in the starting XI. David Alaba will also return in central defense at the expense of Jerome Boateng. Niklas Sule currently deserves to get consistent playing time to build his match fitness. Benjamin Pavard will complete the back four by slotting in the right-back position.

Joshua Kimmich was able to put on a show in the new kit number against Schalke. The German midfielder is so comfortable on and off the ball in the holding midfield role. He is a nailed-on starter on Thursday, partnering Leon Goretzka in the center of the park.
Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry ran riot against Schalke last weekend. The German wingers will be starting again on Thursday since Flick currently doesn’t have Coman available to rotate. Thomas Muller will occupy the number ten role, while Robert Lewandowski will lead the line for the Champions League winners.
