Veteran forward sets a new record for Bayern Munich

FWD, Kingsley Coman — 7/10

Kingsley Coman is finally getting into the groove ahead of the cup competitions. The French winger was lively throughout the hour he spent on the pitch. He made a great run to score the first goal for Bayern. Coman also provided the assist for Cuisance’s goal. The 24-year-old winger needs to become a regular goalscorer to become a complete wide forward. He had the opportunity to double his tally at the start of the second half. Another encouraging outing for the French forward.

More from Bayern Strikes

FWD, Thomas Muller — 7/10

Finally, Muller sets a new record for the most number of assists in a single Bundesliga campaign. He created the opening goal by playing a lovely through ball for Coman. The German forward was his usual self in this game, leading the press from the front and always taking up dangerous positions in the final third. He rounded off a good performance with a well-taken goal at the end of the second half.

FWD, Serge Gnabry — 6/10

Serge Gnabry is going through a rough patch at the moment. He is still creating goals here and there, but struggling to find the back of the net. His overall linkup play was sharp against Wolfsburg, but he was not consistently getting in dangerous positions in the box. The German winger had one dangerous shot saved by Casteels, but overall he had a below-average performance.
