Prolific striker ends campaign strongly for Bayern Munich

ST, Robert Lewandowski — 7/10

Robert Lewandowski ended the campaign in the way he started. The Pole scored his 34th goal of the season by calmly converting the penalty in the second half. He ends the campaign with the top scorer in the division. Lewandowski had chances to score more goals against Wolfsburg, but Casteels made some tremendous saves from his shots. He dropped deep whenever Muller was leading the press, showing that there are more dimensions to his game rather than just scoring goals.

Substitutes

FWD, Ivan Perisic — 7/10

Perisic slotted on the right flank after coming on for Coman in the second half. The Croatian was sharp in the final third. He delivered a dangerous cross in the box after being introduced into the game. Perisic eventually got the assist when he delivered an inviting cross for Muller to volley into the goal.

FWD, Philippe Coutinho — 6/10

Coutinho finally made his return after being out of injury for more than two months. The Brazilian showed some neat touches around the box, but he couldn’t make any significant impact on the game.

DEF, Benjamin Pavard — 7/10

Pavard’s introduction helped Die Roten to be much more solid defensively. The French defender was not as adventurous in the final third as Odriozola, but he provided much-needed stability to the defense.
