Bayern Munich midfielder Mickael Cuisance is transfer target for Marseille.
The upcoming summer transfer window is set to be decisive for numerous Bayern Munich players. Some players are coming towards the end of their careers in Bavaria, while others could leave on a temporary basis to get more playing time. Mickael Cuisance falls in the second category.
The French midfielder arrived in Bavaria from Borussia Monchengladbach after Renato Sanches sealed a move to Lille. Cuisance has struggled to stamp his authority at Bayern, struggling to get regular playing time. The 20-year-old midfielder has been linked with a loan move in summer.
According to L’Equipe (via Sport), Marseille is looking to bring Cuisance to Ligue 1 in summer. This is likely to be a loan move since Die Roten has persistently insisted that they believe in French midfielder. Cuisance has been previously linked with a loan move to Toulouse.
Hasan Salihamidzic had heaped praise on Cuisance for showing determination in training. He backed him to eventually become an important player for Die Roten in the future. The French midfielder has also been optimistic about his future in Bavaria.

Cuisance has lately been getting minutes in the first team since Die Roten has sealed the Bundesliga title. He has shown flashes of brilliance, but yet to deliver a strong performance that will lead to a selection dilemma for Flick. The Frenchman needs to play regularly to get some sort of rhythm on the pitch.
The future of Thiago Alcantara has become a hot topic in Germany. The Spaniard has reportedly declined a contract offer, in an effort to get a transfer in summer. With doubts regarding the future of Corentin Tolisso, Cuisance may have a much important role to play for the first team in Bavaria next season.
Die Roten will also bring Adrian Fein back from Hamburg in summer, so there will be decent depth in midfield without splashing the cash on a new midfielder. Cuisance will have favourable conditions in Bavaria to flourish and show the qualities that made him one of the best young midfielders in Bundesliga during his time at Monchengladbach.

Having said that, if the club goes and spends big in the market on a midfielder, then Cuisance should be looking for a temporary move. However, it is essential that he gets the correct move, where he will play regularly. Sanches’ career at Bayern suffered due to the wrong choice for a loan move. The club cannot afford to endure the same fate for Cuisance.
