Matthijs de Ligt is not the only Bayern Munich player Manchester United want to sign this summer, with a right-back now also on their list of targets.
After making three signings to start the summer transfer window, Bayern Munich must now switch their focus to selling key players to fund further arrivals. Matthijs de Ligt is one player who could leave the Bavarian giants, with Manchester United keen on his signature. Bayern have already rejected a bid from Manchester United for the Dutch center-back, and are holding out for a fee in the region of 50 million euros.
Now it appears that Erik ten Hag also wants to reunite with Noussair Mazraoui ahead of the start of the new season. According to Sky Sport, Manchester United have the former Ajax full-back on top of their list of targets. West Ham United are also interested in Mazraoui, who is keen to play in the English Premier League.
Bayern Munich set asking price for Noussair Mazraoui
Bayern Munich are willing to sell Mazraoui this summer, with the likes of Joshua Kimmich, Sacha Boey and Josip Stanisic among the other right-back options in their first-team roster. The report claims that Bayern want a fee in the region of 20-25 million euros for the Morocco international. But a figure of around 15-20 million euros is seen as more realistic.
Mazraoui moved to Bayern Munich on a free transfer from Ajax in 2022 and has two years left on his current contract. He has made just 55 appearances for Bayern, and could leave Vincent Kompany's side this summer.
