Harry Kane is looking forward to what he expects to be a tough test for Bayern Munich against Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga next weekend.
With 20 goals in their last three games, Bayern Munich are in spectacular form at the moment. Die Roten have won all their games so far this season and are sitting pretty at the top of the Bundesliga standings. As Oktoberfest gets underway in Bavaria, next up for Vincent Kompany's side is a massive home game in the Bundesliga against Bayer Leverkusen.
Harry Kane sets his sights on Bayer Leverkusen test
Having suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two sides met, Bayern Munich will be keen to gain a measure of revenge against Xabi Alonso's reigning Bundesliga champions. And Harry Kane is anticipating a tough match-up against Bayern's title rivals at the Allianz Arena. But he does not expect Bayern to change their style of play.
"We're Bayern Munich and we don't change the way we play for other teams,” Kane told Sky Sport. “Of course, it will be a difficult test. Leverkusen are a great side. They’ve proven that over the last year. It will a tough game, but we have to go there with the same mentality, the same hunger that we showed and every game so far this season. We’re at home during Oktoberfest, so it should be a great game.”
Kane is in incredible form at the moment, and has scored ten goals in his last four appearances for club and country. The England captain was on target once again on Saturday during the 5-0 win over Werder Bremen, and also grabbed two assists. He will hope to continue that run against Bayer Leverkusen, who will be sure to offer Bayern their toughest test of the season so far.
