Bayern Munich continued their fine start to the season with a thumping 5-0 win against Werder Bremen on Saturday. The Bavarian club remained top of the Bundesliga after winning all their first four league games. Vincent Kompany became the first Bayern coach since Carlo Ancelotti to win his first four Bundesliga games.

It was a dominating performance from Bayern from the word go. They kept the ball for long periods in the game and didn’t allow Bremen to get into their box. Die Roten didn’t concede a single shot on target and created several chances at the other end of the pitch.

Kompany will be pleased with the clean sheet in the game after the team messed up defensively on a few occasions in the last two games. Bayern will go into next week’s big game against Bayer Leverkusen as the league leader. Let us look at how players performed at Weserstadion.

Sven Ulreich- 6/10

Sven Ulreich was handed his first league start of the season on Saturday since Manuel Neuer hadn’t completely recovered from a minor injury. Ulriech hardly had anything to do in the goal, but he certainly could have done better with the ball to help Die Roten while playing out from the back.
