The French club has been keenly following Boey for a long time. However, Bayern had beaten a host of clubs for Boey’s signature from Galatasaray during the last winter transfer window.
While Marseille’s interest looks concrete in Boey, the French full-back has no plans to leave Munich. The 24-year-old defender is eager to prove himself at Bayern after enduring a frustrating spell on the sidelines during his first year in Munich. His agent has also insisted that Bayern also wants to keep Boey. The French right-back feels completely settled in Munich.

Boey should look to cement a spot in the starting XI during Ruckrunde
Vincent Kompany has faith in Boey despite his injury-riddled start to life in Munich. The Belgian coach wanted to sign Boey at Burnley. At the start of the season, the French defender was expected to be Bayern’s first-choice right-back. However, another injury in September ruled him out for a couple of months.

Boey came on against Borussia Dortmund last weekend in the second half and delivered an impressive performance. Boey will compete with Josip Stanišić for the right-back position at Bayern. The two players should get an ample amount of game time in the second half of the season.
