Attack

Leroy Sané  - 6/10

Put pressure and nabbed the ball from Shakhtar's center-back which eventually led to Bayern’s second goal but otherwise, it was yet another underwhelming performance from Sané.

Thomas Müller  - 7/10

Müller didn’t have the best start to game but went on to score the much-needed second goal for Bayern. Also made a crucial block to a stop a point-blank attempt from Shakhtar's Valeriy Bondar.

Michael Olise  - 9/10

The Frenchman finally ended his goal-draught with a coolly dispatched penalty and later made it a brace with a brilliant individual goal. He also played a crucial role in Bayern’s fourth goal of the night and was a menace to deal with for Shakhtar defenders as he completed the most dribbles in the game (6).
