Bayern Munich chiefs will have a busy weekend. With the team preparing for the clash against Augsburg in the Bundesliga, the club chiefs will work on getting deals done to strengthen the attack for the rest of the season.
The Bavarian club is pursuing loan deals to fill the void left by Kingsley Coman. The French winger left Die Roten two weeks ago to join Al-Nassr on a permanent deal. Die Roten have also parted ways with Leroy Sane, Thomas Müller, and Paul Wanner this season. Moreover, Jamal Musiala has been ruled out for at least until the start of 2026 due to a serious injury.
Bayern have signed Luis Diaz from Liverpool to strengthen the attack. It has been widely reported over the last couple of weeks that Bayern want to sign one more forward. However, things have changed over the last few days.
According to Sky Sports in Germany, Bayern could sign two forwards before the end of the transfer window. Both deals are expected to be loan deals. Christoph Freund refused to rule out two more signings.
The primary focus for Bayern is to sign Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea on a loan deal. Talks are progressing well between the two clubs, with Chelsea pushing to insert an obligation to buy next summer. However, Die Roten are looking for a loan with an option to buy. As per Sky Sports in Germany, the loan fee could be as high as €15 million for the Senegalese forward. The Bavarian club is facing competition from Aston Villa and Newcastle United for the signing of Jackson.
Bayern show interest in another Chelsea forward
Sky Sports in Germany have reported that Bayern are looking for a player on the left flank. They have shown interest in Chelsea winger Tyrique George. The 19-year-old winger is expected to leave Stamford Bridge permanently before the end of the transfer window. Along with Bayern, RB Leipzig, AS Roma, and Premier League clubs have shown interest in George.
Chelsea want a permanent departure for George, which makes the move to Bavaria looking unlikely. Die Roten have been locked in talks with Chelsea for most of the summer for different players. The Bavarian club also wanted to sign Christopher Nkunku from Chelsea on a loan deal, but he is closing on a permanent move to AC Milan.
Sky Sports has also reported that Rekordmeister are evaluating other options. It will be interesting to see how Bayern gets two deals over the line in the next three days.
