Bayern Munich board announced the club has completed their summer shopping and is ready for next season. In a press conference on Wednesday, Director of Sport Max Eberl remained adamant that Bayern has fulfilled their needs and rejected every rumour of a potential new signing.
Bayern Munich was quick to complete two marquee signings before the World Cup in Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari, before recently finalising the deal for young midfielder Bara Sapoko Ndiaye. Eberl told the media on Wednesday (via Sky Sports) that the squad is well-equipped for next season.

Three new signings, excluding the return of Arijon Ibrahimovic on loan from Heidenheim, were deemed enough by the executives.
Eberl positive about squad depth at left wing and midfield
A big topic for Bayern Munich this offseason is to find a backup for Luis Diaz on the left and a replacement for the departing Leon Goretzka in midfield. The club decided to promote Tom Bischof to a bigger role and opted to bring in young talent Sapoko Ndiaye to fill the vacant midfield spots. They will be direct replacements for Goretzka.
As for the left wing, Max Eberl believes that newcomers Nene Brown and Ismael Saibari are versatile enough to cover for Luis Diaz. Alphonso Davies, Arijon Ibrahimovic and Jamal Musiala can also fill in if needed. He also said Bayern scrapped the initial plan to buy a proper left winger after reaching a deal with Saibari.
Three players on the way OUT
While Bayern Munich is done with bringing in new signings, they are not done with selling expendable players. Max Eberl publicly named three players who are not part of the club's plan for next season. They are Sacha Boey, Joao Palhinha and Bryan Zaragoza.
Boey and Zaragoza, bought for a total of €43 million in the winter transfer window of 2024, were arguably two of the worst signings by the club in the modern era.
Zaragoza only played seven games for Bayern. The 24-year-old spent the last two seasons on loan in Spain and Italy. Boey made 38 appearances but was largely underwhelming. Joao Palhinha being out of the equation might be a shocking decision for many, especially after a positive performance at Spurs last season and Bayern's midfield depth issue. But it seems like Bayern is ready to cash in on his value and cut its losses on his €51 million transfer fee.
