A busy summer transfer window continues for Bayern Munich as the German record champion announced the signing of Senegalese international Bara Sapoko Ndiaye. The 18-year-old will join Bayern on a permanent deal after playing the second half of last season at the Allianz Arena on loan.
Several reports in Germany have confirmed that the total package for Sapoko Ndiaye falls around €3-4 million, and he will sign a five-year contract, keeping him at the club until 2031.
The teenager will replace Leon Goretzka and become Bayern's fourth-choice midfielder behind Joshua Kimmich, Aleksandar Pavlovic and Tom Bischof. Joao Palhinha is also another competitor for the squad spot if the club cannot find a suitor.

Full agreement has now been reached with Gambinos Stars. All details are settled on a transfer fee of at least €3-4 million. He is set to join Bayern’s training camp at Tegernsee this week.

The midfielder showed up at Bayern's facilities today for a final medical check before officially signing his contract. Bayern Munich loaned in Bara Sapoko Ndiaye for the second phase of last season from Gambian side Gambinos Stars.
The youngster eventually played four games for the club last season, mostly at the tail end, filling in for the injured Bischof and letting the starters rest ahead of important Champions League matches.
Sapoko Ndiaye even earned himself two starts against Mainz 05 and Heidenheim.

Bara Ndiaye dazzled with his physicality and work rate but was still pretty raw with lots of high upside. Thanks to his performance in Bayern's colours, he was called up to the World Cup preliminary squad by Senegal head coach Pape Thiaw in May.
He reportedly impressed Pape Thiaw so much that he was named in the official 26-man squad flying to North America for The Lions of Teranga. The 18-year-old was given his World Cup debut against Belgium in the Round of 32. Despite having his big day spoiled by a heartbreaking defeat, Sapoko Ndiaye showed promising signs in the game.
After the World Cup, he attracted attention from many big clubs but was determined to join the team that allowed him to showcase his talent to the world, Bayern Munich. The signing of Bara Sapoko Ndiaye illustrates the club's vision in developing young talents and building a more sustainable system and future for Bayern Munich.
In the past, many academy stars have been pushed aside for flashier signings that did not pan out. There is no guarantee that Sapoko Ndiaye will succeed at Bayern, but with his raw talent, he just needs dedication, perseverance, and a proper manager to coach him the correct way.
