After a high-scoring season for Bayern Munich, the summer transfer window was expected to be dominated by the future of their top players in attack. There has been a lot of speculation around the future of the wide players in the squad.
Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a move for Michael Olise. The French forward also reportedly wants to join the Spanish club, but Bayern have no plans to entertain a departure this summer. Real Madrid are currently pursuing a move for RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande to strengthen their attack.
There has also been speculation around the future of Luis Diaz. The Colombian winger is reportedly a dream target for Al-Hilal. The Saudi Arabian club can offer a lucrative deal to the player and Bayern.
Despite the possibility of getting a big fee for Diaz, Bayern have no plans to even consider the thought of parting ways with the 29-year-old forward. While talking to Kicker, Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen quickly poured cold water on reports linking Diaz away from Bavaria.

Diaz joined Bayern last summer from Liverpool for a reported fee of €75 million. He hit the ground running while playing on the left flank for the Bavarian club. Diaz contributed with 26 goals and 23 assists for Bayern in 51 appearances during his debut season.
Considering the impact he had on Bayern’s attack, it makes no sense to consider a departure this summer. Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg has reported that Diaz is not keen on looking for a move away from Munich. He is happy at Bayern and wants to continue winning silverware with the Bavarian club.
Bayern not expecting further transfers in attack
The Bundesliga champions are hoping to keep Diaz and Olise this summer. They are also planning to offer new contracts to Olise and Harry Kane. In Kane’s case, the contract renewal is more urgent since he has entered the final year of his current deal.
Bayern have added more quality to their attack this summer by signing Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven for a reported fee of €55 million. The Moroccan is expected to report for the pre-season training at Sabner Strasse in the next few days. Arijon Ibrahimovic will be part of the first team next summer as he has been given the role of being the backup of Diaz on the left flank.
As things stand, Bayern have no plans to sign another forward. They have previously shown interest in Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola, but any deal to sign the French forward is going to be in excess of €120 million.
