Bayern Munich wants to part ways with three players before deadline day
After completing the business for new arrivals early in the summer, Bayern Munich will be focussing on sorting the future of fringe players in the final three weeks of the transfer window. The Bavarian club still has far too many players in the first team squad for the new season.
Die Roten has done a fairly decent job in getting good transfer fees for players that were not in the plans of Julian Nagelsmann. Marc Roca, Chris Richards, and Omar Richards went to Premier League to play for Leeds United, Crystal Palace, and Nottingham Forest, respectively.
Bayern also managed to get a record fee for Robert Lewandowski. The Polish striker sealed a move to FC Barcelona for €50 million in July. According to SportBild, Bayern Munich is looking to part ways for three more players before the end of the transfer window.
Joshua Zirkzee, Tanguy Nianzou, and Bouna Sarr are the three players that Die Roten wants to sell/loan next three weeks. Meanwhile, Benjamin Pavard and Leroy Sane are set to stay at Bayern despite being linked with a move away from Bavaria. Let us look at the state of play for the three fringe players that are expected to leave before deadline day.
Joshua Zirkzee
Joshua Zirkzee could soon leave Bavaria as he is open to leaving Die Roten for regular playing time. The Dutch forward is open to moving to Premier League after Fulham showed concrete interest in him. Fulham will be facing competition from VfB Stuttgart for his signature. Stuttgart reportedly touched base with Bayern to explore a move for Zirkzee.
Bayern is looking to get €20 million for the Dutch striker. Zirkzee flourished last season during his loan spell at Anderlecht. The Dutch forward ended the campaign with more than 15 goals across all competitions. Die Roten will be hoping to insert a buy-back clause in a deal for Zirkzee as he is expected to get better with more playing time.
Tanguy Nianzou
Hasan Salihamidzic rates Tanguy Nianzou very highly, but the French defender needs regular game time to continue his development. Nianzou will not be playing regularly in Bavaria next season since there are four center-back options ahead of him in the pecking order. Die Roten will most likely send him out on loan before the deadline day.

Bouna Sarr
Bouna Sarr has struggled for game time at Bayern during the last two seasons. The German Champions also tried to move him on last summer, but he ended up staying at the club. With the arrival of Noussair Mazraoui from Ajax this summer, Sarr’s chances of playing have reduced further. There is interest in the Senegalese right-back from various clubs in Europe, but his wages are turning out to be the deal breaker. Bayern will be hoping that a transfer materialises in the next three weeks since it will serve well for all parties.
