Bayern Munich will be seeing a managerial change in the summer. After enjoying successful two seasons at the club, Hansi Flick has decided to leave the club. The German Champions have already lined up his replacement by agreeing a world record fee with RB Leipzig for Julian Nagelsmann.

Die Roten will be terminating Flick’s contract, so his next employer will not have to pay compensation for his services. The German manager is in demand as ESPN has already reported this week that Barcelona is exploring the opportunity to appoint him as the next manager.

Meanwhile, Bild (via iMiaSanMia) has also reported that Juventus and Barcelona are in the race to appoint Flick as the head coach. He is yet to reveal his next destination, but it has been widely reported that Flick will succeed Joachim Low as the new coach of the German National team after Euro in the summer.

Ronald Koeman is currently the head coach of Barcelona. The Dutch manager’s future is in doubt after Joan Laporta was elected as the new president. Koeman might have to leave the role as Barcelona is unlikely to lift the La Liga title. A similar scenario is taking place at Juventus as Andrea Pirlo is under pressure. Juventus is currently out of the top four in Serie A with two league games to go.

Barcelona and Juventus are also two clubs that are yet to officially withdraw from the Super League. The two clubs need a massive rebuild since there are too many players in the twilight of their career. It would be a huge gamble on Flick’s behalf to take up a role at any of these two clubs.

After enjoying success in Bavaria, Flick is very well placed to replace Low in the German National Team. German National team director Oliver Bierhoff recently insisted that they are moving in a positive direction to complete negotiations with Flick. It will take an incredible turn of events to see Flick moving away from Germany.

Flick managed to get the best out of senior and young players at Die Roten. He will be able to execute similar plans in the national team. The core of the squad in the German team plays at Die Roten, so Flick will be very familiar with players in the national team.

Nevertheless, Flick’s incredible success was bound to attract attention from some of the biggest clubs in Europe. However, his future could be away from club football as he looks to make an impact in international football.
