Bayern Munich deliver efficient performance in Bremen- Player Ratings
FWD, Thomas Muller — 9/10
After the break due to coronavirus, Muller is slowly getting back to his best. His link-up play in the final third was exquisite against Werder Bremen. His awareness of space is second to none in this team. The German forward was a menace for Bremen throughout his stay on the pitch. A clever header helped in setting up Goretzka for the first goal, while a cute pass to Gnabry from Muller doubled Die Roten’s lead. Muller getting back to his best is a big positive for Bayern going into the crucial phase of the season.
FWD, Serge Gnabry — 8/10
Gnabry was handed a start on Saturday after Sane has consistently started every game in the past few weeks. The German winger grabbed this opportunity with both hands by delivering a solid display in the final third. He came close to scoring the opener with a terrific effort from outside the box. Gnabry eventually got his goal when Muller guided the ball in his path during the 35th minute. He sorted his feet quickly and slotted the ball past the keeper. A good performance from Gnabry on Saturday bodes well for the rest of the campaign.

FWD, Kingsley Coman — 7/10
Coman didn’t get himself on the scoresheet, but he was very important player for Die Roten on the right flank. The Frenchman plays with much more intensity, helping his full-back to recover the ball quickly.
Moreover, he doesn’t rush the final pass and assess the situation before delivering the cross or dribble past the opposition. His perseverance in the final third helped Bayern to sustain the attack for long periods.
