Bayern Munich will hit the road to face Werder Bremen on Matchday 25 of the 2020/21 Bundesliga season. Die Roten will be in search of all three points against a Bremen side who have won two of their last three matches.

After holding Die Roten to one point earlier in the season, this match could be another closely contested fixture. The German Champions cannot afford to drop points, so every game from here on is a big and different challenge.  Ahead of the clash against Werder Bremen, here are three things to watch for ahead of Saturday’s match.

Will Josh Sargent continue to score?

Sargent has been in fantastic form for Bremen during the second half of the season. The 21-year-old American striker has scored four goals in his last seven Bundesliga appearances. When Bayern faced Bremen on Matchday Eight, Sargent registered three shots and two of those attempts were on target.

The young forward should be a player to watch for as Sargent could test Bayern’s backline once more. Sargent has been been a key source of goals for Bremen lately and they will likely need him to find the back of the net on Saturday if they want to take at least a point away from this match.

More from Bayern Strikes

Chasing a win against every Bundesliga club

Bremen is one of the four clubs Bayern has yet to defeat in the Bundesliga this season. They put up an impressive fight in their first meeting of the campaign and were able to hold Die Roten at home to a 1-1 draw.

If Bremen is able to take points away from their two meetings with Bayern this season it will certainly be a fantastic result for them. However, with Bayern still in the midst of the title race with RB Leipzig, it will not be an easy task. The visitors need all three points and can move closer to defeating every Bundesliga club at least once this season.

Goretzka looks to continue his good run of form

The last two matches have gone very well for Leon Goretzka. He registered a hat trick of assists against FC Koln and then scored what proved to be the match-winning goal against Borussia Dortmund. Against Bremen, the midfielder could shine again as he looks to continue his good run of form.

Goretzka did register an assist in the 1-1 draw against Bremen earlier this season and received the highest player rating of any player on the pitch from Who Scored. This could be another match where he delivers a fantastic performance to help get Bayern an important away victory in their quest for the Bundesliga title.
