In such a scenario, Flick should consider giving Lucas Hernandez a long run in the left center-back position and give Alaba some breathing space. If the German manager wants to persist with a high line of defense, then Hernandez will be a good fit in this position due to his pace. The Frenchman will be able to cover better when the opposition is trying to hurt Bayern on the counter.
