Team News for Bayern Munich

Bayern suffered a big blow on Monday as Niklas Sule was tested positive for coronavirus. The German defender is set to self-isolate at home. He is likely to get a long break as his positive test is likely to put him out of contention for the international games for Germany.

Corentin Tolisso will be available for the game against Salzburg after missing the win against FC Koln due to suspension. The French midfielder has been impressive in the CL this season, so he should be in line to get a start on Tuesday.

Robert Lewandowski and Leon Goretzka were rested for the game against Koln. The former has travelled with the squad while the latter will reportedly miss out due to a minor injury. Flick has not been afraid of rotating the squad heavily this season as there is a congestion of fixtures.

Alphonso Davies remains the long term absentee for the European Champions. The German club has not yet announced a date for his return. Flick also confirmed on Monday that Tanguy Kouassi is likely to make his debut after the international as he continues recovery from a thigh injury that he suffered at the start of September.
