Predicted Starting XI for Bayern Munich

Flick is likely to revert to his best team after rotating heavily against Koln. Alexander Nubel may have to wait for two more games in the Champions League before getting a start. Manuel Neuer will be starting in the goal against Salzburg.

Sule’s absence in central defense will be compensated by Jerome Boateng. The German defender is having a decent campaign. He will partner David Alaba in the heart of the defense. Lucas Hernandez will slot in the left-back position, while Benjamin Pavard returns to the starting lineup on the right side of the defense.

More from Bayern Strikes

Goretzka’s absence will mean that Corentin Tolisso will play deep in the number eight role. The Frenchman will be making it three wins in CL after playing a pivotal role in the last two group games. Joshua Kimmich will partner Tolisso in the center of the park.

Leroy Sane will be making his Champions League debut after missing the previous two group games due to injury. The German winger will start on the right flank while Kingsley Coman will occupy the left side of the attack. Robert Lewandowski will be back in the team as number nine while Thomas Muller will slot in the number ten position.
