Elseid Hysaj

A few seasons ago, Napoli were playing some of the most attractive style of football in Europe. The Italian team was thriving under Maurizio Sarri. Elseid Hysaj was one of the key members of the squad under the Italian manager.

The Albanian has been linked with a move away from the club for a few seasons now. However, this summer could be the opportunity for him to get a big move as he is no longer a regular member of the starting XI at Napoli. Hysaj is currently behind Giovanni Di Lorenzo in the pecking order at the Italian club.

Hysaj will fit perfectly in Bayern’s possession-based game. The 26-year-old full-back is composed on the ball and can play dangerous ball in the final third. His arrival will allow Die Roten to be a more balanced team as the width will be provided by full-backs on both flanks.

The Albanian international currently has only one year left on the contract, so Bayern can get him for a reasonable fee. Negotiating with Aurelio De Laurentiis, Napoli’s chairman, is a difficult task, but Hysaj’s contract situation will help Die Roten to sign him with fewer hurdles. Hysaj still has prime years of his career in front of him, so he can surely emulate his best form that he showed a couple of years ago.
