Delay in deciding the next manager

As per reports in Germany, Hansi Flick has done more than enough to secure the permanent managerial role at Bayern Munich. The German manager looks to be in sitting in the box seat to take over this role due to recent results.

However, the current break may delay Bayern’s decision to hire a new manager. The club hierarchy may surely want to see how he does in the latter stages of the Champions League to make a final decision. Moreover, the availability of various top managers has allowed Die Roten to make their minds up quickly.

I still think Flick will end up with this job, but Bayern is likely to take longer to decide as performances under interim manager is due to new manager bounce that players experience. Flick has the players on his side as numerous first-team players have praised him publicly.

Clarity over the manager’s future would have helped players to focus better on the pitch, provided the season resumes. A win against Chelsea this week may have sealed the job for Flick, but now Bavarians will have to wait to know who will lead the team next season.
