Four ways the suspension of football will affect Bayern Munich
Injury woes will decrease
Bayern currently have three players sidelined due to injuries. Robert Lewandowski is expected to start training at the start of April. The Polish striker suffered a serious injury to his tibia during the win against Chelsea.
Ivan Perisic suffered an injury on the training ground in February. The Croatian winger was expected to be out of action for at least one month. Perisic is also expected to start training with the first team at the end of March.

Niklas Sule started training on the grass last week after being out for more than five months due to a serious ACL injury. The German defender is confident that he can contribute to Bayern’s season and also be fit in time for the squad selection for Euros in summer.
Euros is looking unlikely to take place this summer. These three players will be able to play more games for Bayern due to this break. Moreover, players such as Kingsley Coman and Lucas Hernandez can also work on improving their fitness as they just returned to action from serious injuries. This break will give Flick the chance to field his best starting XI when football resumes in April.
