Former Bayern Munich striker Miroslav Klose heaps praise on Robert Lewandowski after his recent exploits with Poland.
Robert Lewandowski has been enjoying a prolific start to this campaign as he replicated his club form for Poland during the ongoing international break. The Pole has scored 15 goals in 11 games for Bayern Munich across all competitions.
Earlier this month, Lewandowski also reached the 200 goal landmark. The Polish striker is showing no signs of slowing down despite turning 31 in August. He is determined to play at the top level for the next four years.
Luca Toni had backed Lewandowski to fire Bayern to success this season after his prolific start to the season. After Toni, another former Bayern striker has piled on the praise for Lewandowski as he broke the Bundesliga record of scoring ten goals in the first six games of the season.
Speaking to SportBild (via Bundesliga.com), Miroslav Klose admitted that Lewandowski is ten times better than him. Klose also added that the Polish striker is a complete forward as he has all types of finishes in his locker.
"“Robert Lewandowski plays a bit like I did, but he’s 10 times better than I ever was.”“He’s the complete striker, uses both feet, is strong in the air and has a great shot on him.”"

Lewandowski has turned out to be one of the best transfers for Bayern. Since moving to Bavaria on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund, the Pole has been consistently scoring more than 40 goals across all competitions in the past five years.
The best part of Lewandowski’s tenure at Bayern is that he has been showing signs of improvement in his overall play every season. Apart from being a world-class finisher, the Polish striker also plays a key role in the build-up for Die Roten. His ability to create chances for the other forwards is equally important as his goalscoring exploits.
Bayern Munich had to fight hard last summer to keep Lewandowski at the club. The former Dortmund striker was agitating for a move away from the club as Real Madrid were reportedly interested in signing him. However, Die Roten stood firm and were not ready to sell their Talisman to a European rival.
Lewandowski got his head down and delivered another impressive last season. He is now completely settled in Bavaria and wants to win more silverware with the German club. The Polish striker is likely to end his career at Bayern as he signed a new contract last month. Bayern will be hoping that after committing his long term future, Lewandowski guides them to Champions League title this season.
