Bayern Munich has reportedly added Everton Soares to the list of transfer targets in the attacking department.
The difficulties for Bayern Munich are growing in the summer transfer window. Die Roten is yet to address the key positions. The things have moved at a slow pace for the Bundesliga champions this summer, despite starting the summer on a positive note by completing the deals for Lucas Hernandez and Benjamin Pavard.
Bayern needs at least two more signings to be completely ready for next season. A winger remains the utmost priority as the German club has fewer options in this area after the departures of Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery.
Leroy Sane and Callum Hudson-Odoi have emerged as the key transfer targets for Bayern. However, the deals to bring these two players to Bavaria are complicated. Die Roten have reportedly started looking at alternatives for these two wingers.

According to fussballtransfers.com (via TZ), Bayern is exploring the idea of signing Everton Soares from Gremio. This report further insists that Die Roten has held talks with the representatives of the 23-year-old winger. The Brazilian winger has been attracting interest from numerous European clubs due to his impressive performances for club and country.
Soares is a versatile forward but his primary position is on the left flank. He is enjoying a fantastic Copa America with Brazil as he has found the back of the net three times in this competition. The 23-year-old winger has also decent numbers for Gremio across all competitions. He would be a fine addition for Niko Kovac’s squad if they manage to get one top winger. It will be very underwhelming if Die Roten is planning to make him their primary signing in the attacking department.
Kovac has meanwhile hinted at a formation change if the club struggles to sign a top-class winger this summer. The Croatian told AZ that he might switch to a back three and use the wing-backs to provide width. Bayern has quality full-backs to execute this formation, but they will need another center-back as the future of Jerome Boateng in Bavaria looks bleak.
Bayern Munich is generally known for using an effective approach in the transfer market. The German club quickly wraps up the major deals before the pre-season tour. However, the inflated transfer market has made things difficult for Die Roten get the business done quickly. It will be a huge surprise if Bayern doesn’t make at least two more signings before the window shuts down at the start of September.
