After a thrilling first leg in Munich, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid lock horns again in Madrid on Wednesday. The Bavarian club couldn’t get an advantage in the tie during the first leg as Vinicius Jr. converted a penalty in the second half to make sure the game ended at 2-2. Die Roten dominated the game, but the Spanish club stepped up at crucial junctures in 90 minutes to score goals.  

With all to play in the second leg on Wednesday, Real Madrid will be favourites to book a place in the Champions League final. The Spanish club has been in a good run of form on their home turf, and they have the knack of getting results in the Champions League. Moreover, Carlo Ancelotti has a good record in the knockout rounds of the Champions League with Real Madrid.  

Despite the odds being in Real Madrid’s favor, Thomas Tuchel boasts a good record at Santiago Bernabéu. The German coach has won with Chelsea in the Spanish capital and enjoyed an unbeaten record with his previous teams. It is going to be a fascinating battle between two quality coaches.
