Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has not reached an agreement with Al Hilal, contrary to claims being made in France.
Kingsley Coman is increasingly likely to leave Bayern Munich before the transfer window closes. The Bavarians are keen to part ways with the France international, and have reportedly reached an agreement over the transfer fee with Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal. It was claimed in France on Wednesday that Coman has also said yes to a move to Saudi Arabia.
Kingsley Coman ready to leave Bayern Munich after falling down the pecking order
But those claims have since been denied by his agent. Christian Emile, who represents Coman, told Fabrizio Romano that the player has not accepted offers from any clubs yet. "It’s NOT true. Kingsley has not accepted any bid at this stage."
The likes of Liverpool and FC Barcelona are also said to be interested in signing Coman. Although with Liverpool on the verge of bringing in Federico Chiesa, it is unlikely that they will make a bid for the Bayern winger.
Coman is free to leave Bayern Munich after falling down the pecking order for wingers. Bayern signed Michael Olise earlier this summer, and also have the likes of Leroy Sané, Serge Gnabry, Mathys Tel, and Jamal Musiala in their ranks.
The transfer window is set to close on Friday and Bayern Munich will hope for a swift decision on Coman's future. The 28 year old seemingly wants to wait until deadline day to see if there's any interest from top European clubs before committing to a move to Al Hilal.
Bayern Munich may look to enter the transfer market once again if Kingsley Coman does leave the club. It has been reported that the Bavarians could resurrect their interest in Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah. Although it remains to be seen just how much truth there is to that rumor.
