On Sunday afternoon, Bayern Munich traveled to Eintracht Frankfurt for their sixth Bundesliga game of the 24/25 season. And a dramatic late equalizer from Omar Marmoush helped the Eagles stun the Bavarians.

For the task at hand, Vincent Kompany opted for a line up of; Neuer - Guerreiro, Upamecano, Kim, Davies - Kimmich, Pavlović - Olise, Müller, Gnabry, Kane.

Bayern Munich fail to convert dominance into three points against Eintracht Frankfurt

Bayern Munich started the game on the front-foot and took the lead after 15 minutes with a well taken side footed finish from Kim Min-jae after Thomas Müller cut the ball back to him following a corner.

Eintracht Frankfurt then scored from their first shot of the game, mid-way through the first-half, as Omar Marmoush fired home to continue his excellent form to start the season.

Then, typically, with ten minutes to go in the first-half, they scored from their second shot, as Hugo Ekitike scored following a fast break from the hosts.

Bayern would soon be level, however, as Dayot Upamecano fired a loose ball to be the second Bayern center-back to score. The sides went into the half-time interval at 2-2.

Eight minutes into the second-half, and Bayern retook the lead - with Michael Olise scoring his fourth Bundesliga goal of the season, after being teed up by Harry Kane.

After 67 minutes, Kingsley Coman replaced Serge Gnabry in Vincent Kompany's first change of the game. A few minutes later, Kane could not continue and was replaced by Mathys Tel.

As the clock hit 90, Eric Dier, Konrad Laimer, and João Palhinha replaced Upamecano, Olise, and Pavlović.

Four minutes into stoppage time - disaster struck. Marmoush scored his second goal of the game to give the hosts a share of the spoils, leaving Bayern only top of the Bundesliga standings ahead of RB Leipzig on goal difference.

Not many could have imagined such a disappointing eight days for Bayern after the start to the season. Unable to break down a leaky Leverkusen defense, a lifeless performance away to Aston Villa, and an embarrasing collapse away to Frankfurt. To score three goals and not win a game as Bayern is absolutely inexcusable and adjustments must be made over the international break after this terrible choke.
