Bayern Munich are not expected to make signings in the final ten days of the transfer window. However, the Bavarian club could be busy arranging departures for a couple of senior players. Kingsley Coman is one of the players who could leave Bayern in the next few days.
Die Roten are ready to sanction the departure of Coman without signing a replacement for him. The Bavarian club wants to trim their wage bill. Since Coman is one of the big earners at the club, his departure, even on a loan deal, will mean financial gain for Bayern.
However, Coman is not agitating for a move away from Bayern. According to L’Equipe (via GFFN), Kingsley Coman is not actively searching for a new club. The French winger will leave Bayern only for a club competing for the big trophies in Europe.
This report also adds that Coman is content with life in Munich since his young family is settled in the city. The French international has no interest in leaving Europe as he has already rejected offers from Saudi Arabia. Coman has also reportedly rejected a move to Fenerbahce.
Paris Saint-Germain have shown interest in Coman, but they are yet to make an offer to Bayern. Manchester City and FC Barcelona have also been linked with Coman. However, Die Roten are yet to receive any offers for the French winger. Unless there is a significant breakthrough in the coming days, Coman will stay in Munich for at least one more season.
Coman will get adequate playing time at Bayern this season
Despite Bayern keen on parting ways with Coman, they have not tried to push the winger out of the club. Coman has got a decent amount of game time in the pre-season friendlies during the summer. He was on the scoresheet against SSV Ulm in DFB Pokal after coming off the bench on Friday.
The French winger will not have to worry about game time if he stays in Munich beyond the summer transfer window. He is one of the senior wide players in the squad. If Coman is fit for big parts of the season, he will be an asset for Bayern in the long season.
Bayern would have intensified their efforts to sell Coman if they had succeeded in signing Désiré Doué from Rennes. PSG managed to beat Bayern for the young French winger. Die Roten are in no hurry to look for more attacking reinforcements and stick with the players they have in the squad. They will look to sign another attacking player next summer.
