Leroy Sane
Sane had a wonderful start to the 2023/24 season, scoring eight goals and providing two assists in the first nine Bundesliga games. He also had a goal and assist in the first three Champions League games of the campaign and two goals for Germany, all by the end of October.
However, things changed drastically after October. The German winger scored one more goal during the rest of the season, with consistently poor performances, especially after the winter break. With Michael Olise signed likely with the idea to play off the right, Sane will have to nail down consistency off the left if he wants to be a regular starter next season.
Kingsley Coman
The French winger will have to seriously flick a switch next season if he wants regular game-time under Vincent Kompan. Coman has reportedly ruled out a move to Fenerbache this summer, and in the past has turned down interest from Saudi Arabia.
The French winger does not have many suitors this summer, which makes staying in Munich a distinct possibility. Coman will need consistency in performances next season to force his way back into the starting XI. The signing of Olise further complicates things. Coman could see himself competing with Sane, Zaragoza, and Mathys Tel for a place on the left side of the attack.
