Dani Olmo has had his say on reports linking him with a move to Bayern Munich, with the Spanish attacking midfielder available for a fee of 60 million euros this summer.

Bayern Munich are keen to bolster their attack this summer, and are keeping tabs on a number of talented players. Dani Olmo is said to be one of the names on their radar, and the RB Leipzig star has now commented on potential interest from the Bavarians.

While Olmo is flattered by interest from the likes of Bayern Munich and FC Barcelona, he insists that his main focus at the moment is the upcoming European Championship. "I am calm and focused on what is coming, which is the European Championship," Olmo told Mundo Deportivo.

"It's nice to see your name linked to big teams in Europe and the world, that motivates me, but I'm focused on the European Championship and hopefully we can come back with the trophy. Then we'll see what happens."

Board member for sport Max Eberl worked with Olmo at RB Leipzig, which could play into Bayern Munich’s hands if they do decide to pursue a move for him. Although it remains to be seen if Bayern would be willing to meet his 60 million euros release clause for his signature.

Dani Olmo is primarily an attacking midfielder, but is also more than capable of playing on either flank. The 26 year old has been ever-present for Leipzig since joining them in 2020, and has 29 goals and 34 assists to his name in 148 appearances for the club.
