Signing Désiré Doué is Bayern Munich's top priority with the money they receive from Manchester United for Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.
Bayern Munich are set to part ways with Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui, with Manchester United on the verge of signing the duo for a combined fee in the region of 70 million euros. The double sale is expected to raise enough funds for those in charge to further bolster their roster. And a move for Désiré Doué is said to be the top priority of those in charge.
According to Sky Sport, Bayern Munich have Jonathan Tah and Désiré Doué on their list of targets for the rest of the summer transfer window. And a move for the latter would take priority if only one player can be signed.
Will Désiré Doué join Bayern Munich amid interest from PSG?
Bayern have reportedly already submitted two bids for Doué, and also have an agreement in place on personal terms with the talented forward. The 19 year old will make a decision on his future soon, having recently helped France win the silver medal at the Paris Olympics.
In addition to Bayern, Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in signing Doué. The likes of Manchester United and Chelsea have also been linked with a move for the highly rated winger. But the Bavarians are said to be leading the race, with Vincent Kompany and Max Eberl both thought to be big fans of the player.
Désiré Doué scored four goals and assisted a further six in 43 appearances across all competitions for Rennes last season. He is valued at around 60 million euros by the French club, and a decision on his future is expected very soon.
