Bayern Munich are set to face competition from Manchester United in their bid to sign Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen.
Jonathan Tah has long been Bayern Munich's top target for central defense, although an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen does not appear to be in sight. Now, Manchester United have seemingly joined the race for the 28 year old, who is keen to join Bayern Munich.
This is being reported by Sky Sport, and the report adds that the Premier League side inquired about Tah a few days ago.

Manchester United are also keen to sign Matthijs de Ligt from Bayern Munich, but have yet to submit an official bid for the Dutch international. Bayern want around 50 million euros plus bonuses for the sale of de Ligt. And selling the 24 year old would allow them to pursue a move for Tah.
The current contract of Jonathan Tah is set to expire at the end of the coming season, and Bayern will hope to seal an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen in the coming weeks. The Bavarians are willing to pay around 20-25 million euros to sign Tah this summer.
Tah is coming off an excellent season with Bayer Leverkusen, and played a crucial role in their Bundesliga title triumph. He is now looking for a new challenge and has already reached an agreement on personal terms with Bayern Munich.
FC Bayern's plan is for Tah to lead their defense next season. But competition from Manchester United could complicate matters.
