Bayern Munich will hope to put an end to their winless run this weekend as they take on the struggling FC Köln in the Bundesliga.

Tuesday's draw against Arsenal showed that Bayern Munich are not ready to give up on their season just yet. Following the encouraging performance in the Champions League, the focus now turns to the Bundesliga where Bayern will face FC Köln at home this weekend.

Bayern will be keen to get the three points, even if their 11-year reign as Bundesliga title holders is about to come to an end. More importantly, VfB Stuttgart are now level on points with Thomas Tuchel's side, with RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund seven points behind. And a comfortable win over Köln on Saturday would go a long way in quelling any doubts over Bayern's hopes of a top four finish.

Tuchel is suspended for the game against the Billy Goats, while Serge Gnabry is sidelined with a muscular injury. Leroy Sané is also not expected to feature, while Sacha Boey remains unavailable. There could be some rotation to the starting XI, with Bayern set to host Arsenal in the second leg of their Champions League tie next week.

FC Köln find themselves in the automatic relegation spots, and are one point shy of 16th placed Mainz 05. The Billy Goats claimed a vital 2-1 win over VfL Bochum last weekend, and will hope to add to Bayern's misery by springing a big surprise on Saturday.

Köln have a number of injury problems in their ranks, with Luca Kilian, Eric Martel, Davie Selke and Mark Uth all sidelined. Steffen Tigges could start up front for Timo Schultz's side, who have scored the least number of goals in the Bundesliga this season.
