Julian Nagelsmann has announced his Germany squad for the upcoming international break and three Bayern Munich players have not made the cut.
A total of three Bayern Munich players (as well as loanee Alexander Nübel) have made the latest Germany squad for their upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures against Hungary and the Netherlands. Joshua Kimmich, Aleksandar Pavlović, and Jamal Musiala have been called up by Julian Nagelsmann.

But the likes of Serge Gnabry, Leon Goretzka, and Leroy Sané have not been included in the latest Germany squad. Sané is still sidelined with an injury and the international break will give him the opportunity to train at Bayern Munich and work his way back to match fitness.
Gnabry has been left out despite his strong start to the season. The winger scored the winning goal for Bayern Munich in their Bundesliga opener against VfL Wolfsburg.
While Goretzka has once again failed to make the cut amid his woes at Bayern Munich. The midfielder has fallen down the pecking order and is free to leave the club. But he is determined to stay on and fight for his place in the team.
These will be the first international fixtures for Germany since the retirement of Bayern Munich duo Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller, as well as İlkay Gündoğan. Kimmich is one of the favorites to take over the captain's armband from Gündoğan. While Nübel will be vying for a spot in goal, although Barcelona's Marc-André ter Stegen is expected to take over as Germany's next first-choice goalkeeper.
Meanwhile, former Bayern Munich youth team player Angelo Stiller has been handed his first call-up to the Germany squad. The VfB Stuttgart player impressed in the Bundesliga last season, and will hope to establish himself as a starter in Germany's new-look midfield.
