Germany endured a heartbreak at Euro 2024 in the quarterfinals when Mikel Merino scored the winner late in the extra-time. It was a devastating loss for Germany as they had delivered much better performances than the last three tournaments. Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala was one of the key reasons behind Germany’s good performances at Euro 2024.

Musiala scored three goals in five games for Germany. He ended up sharing the Golden Boot with six players, including his Bayern teammate Harry Kane. Apart from goals, Musiala’s all-round performances for Germany were impressive. His crisp passing and dribbling helped Germany to create chances and play an attractive style of football.

Courtesy of good performances at Euro 2024. Musiala’s value has increased. According to Transfermarkt, Musiala has seen his value soar to €130 million after the Euro 2024. He is the most valued player in the Bundesliga, along with his compatriot Florian Wirtz.

For Bayern, Musiala is worth more than €130 million. He is one of the best attacking players in Europe. The Bavarian club wants to make him the face of the club for the next decade. They want to build the squad around him, giving them the best chance of achieving success on the pitch.

Musiala’s current deal at Bayern expires in 2026. The German international is open to signing a new deal, provided Bayern are competing on all fronts and playing an attractive style of football. Despite having two years left on his contract, Bayern want to extend his contract as soon as possible. Premier League clubs are reportedly keeping a close eye on Musiala’s situation at Die Roten.

Bayern are working hard this summer to build a squad that can help Musiala and the team achieve objectives on the pitch. After a trophy-less campaign, Die Roten are looking to make significant changes in the squad. Musiala is confident that squad overhaul will be positive for the club. The German attacking midfielder will have quality players to compete for a place in the starting XI. Die Roten have already signed Michael Olise from Crystal Palace to strengthen the squad. They are also actively working on deals to sign Xavi Simons and Désiré Doué.
