Bayern Munich have enjoyed productive results from loan decisions they made last summer. Alexander Nubel is thriving at VfB Stuttgart. He has been one of the best goalkeepers in the Bundesliga this season. Bayern want to extend Nubel’s contract as they see him as the ideal candidate to succeed Manuel Neuer in 2025.

Paul Wanner is another Bayern player who has enjoyed a productive loan spell this season. The young attacking midfielder has been given adequate game time at Elversberg. He has also chipped in with four goals and three assists for the second-division German club this season.

According to Sky Sports in Germany, Bayern have a transfer plan lined up for Wanner when he returns to Munich in the summer. The Bavarian club will send Wanner out on loan to a Bundesliga club next season. The club chiefs believe consistent playing time at the top level in Germany is the next step in Wanner’s development.

Bayern believe Wanner would be ready to play for the first team after next season’s loan spell. As per Sky Sports, several Bundesliga and Eredivisie clubs have already shown interest in signing Wanner for next season.

Wanner is rated very highly at Bayern. He made his senior debut at the age of 16. The young German attacking midfielder is tipped to become a key player for the senior team at Die Roten. Bayern have managed him well until now. They need to get the next loan move spot on to make sure he is ready for the first team sooner rather than later.

In an ideal scenario, Bayern find a club that plays attractive football in the Bundesliga and gives assurances over game time. Apart from Wanner and Nubel, Josip Stanisic and Franz Kratzig are also enjoying productive loan spells this season.

Stanisic has played over 1000 minutes for Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga this season. He has delivered good performances for Leverkusen whenever Xabi Alonso has handed him a place in the starting XI. The Croatian defender will also enjoy collective success this season as Bayer Leverkusen are close to becoming the Bundesliga Champions. Bayer Leverkusen are also in the knockout stages of the DFB Pokal and Europa League.

Meanwhile, Kratzig has been playing consistently for Austria Vienna since leaving Bayern on loan in January. The young defender has one goal and two assists to his name in eight appearances for Austria Vienna. Bayern will assess Kratzig and Stanisic during the pre-season tour before deciding on their long-term futures at the club. (Stats courtesy- Transfermarkt)
