Bayern Munich in talks over spectacular Thomas Tuchel U-turn

Thomas Tuchel could be set to stay at Bayern Munich beyond the end of the season, with talks currently ongoing between the two parties.

In what would be a stunning turn of events, Bayern Munich are seriously considering keeping Thomas Tuchel at the club beyond the end of the season. BILD are reporting that the 50 year old is now one of the club's top candidates for the head coach job, along with Roberto De Zerbi of Brighton & Hove Albion.

The tabloid adds that things are getting concrete again between Bayern and Tuchel, three months after the mutual decision was made to part ways at the end of the season.

Tuchel has also attracted the interest of Manchester United and Chelsea. But he could be tempted to stay at Bayern Munich if those in charge can convince him that he would not just be an interim solution, and they are committed to a future with him.

Bayern Munich's search for a new head coach has dragged on for months now, following rejections from the likes of Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann and Ralf Rangnick. There are few other coaches still on the club's list who can match the experience and vision of Tuchel.
