Federico Chiesa is said to be one of the names on Bayern Munich’s list of targets as they look to bolster their attack ahead of next season.

Bayern Munich are desperate to bring in attacking reinforcements this summer, and have been linked with the likes of Michael Olise, Brajan Gruda, and Chris Führich in recent weeks. Another name on their list of targets is seemingly Federico Chiesa, who could well leave Juventus this summer.

Federico Chiesa could be available to Bayern Munich for a cut-price fee

According to Sky Sport, Bayern could look to take advantage of the fact that Chiesa’s current contract is set to expire in 12 months’ time. The 26 year old could be available for a cut-price fee of around 30-40 million euros.

The report adds that a number of other clubs are also interested in signing Chiesa, while Juventus are also keen to extend his contract. And a resolution on his future is not expected until after the European Championship.

Chiesa is regarded as one of the top wide attacking players in Italy, and scored ten goals and provided three assists in 38 appearances for Juventus in the recently concluded season. He has also made a strong start to Euro 2024, and helped spark Italy’s 2-1 win over Albania with an impressive performance.

This is not the first time Bayern Munich have shown interest in signing Federico Chiesa. And his ability to play in a variety of different roles in attack could make him an excellent option for Vincent Kompany’s side. Chiesa was largely used in the second striker role at Juventus this season, but is primarily a winger.
