Bayern Munich ended their dismal season with a disastrous 4-2 defeat to Hoffenheim, with Andrej Kramarić scoring a hat-trick.

It was a fitting end to a forgettable season for Bayern Munich as they catapulted late on against Hoffenheim and fell to a disastrous 4-2 defeat. The result saw Thomas Tuchel's side slip to third place in the Bundesliga standings, with Stuttgart overtaking them on the final day of the season.

Bayern Munich were woeful in defense and ultimately fell to a well-deserved defeat, with Andrej Kramarić scoring three goals and assisting another. It was a remarkable turnaround from the Sinsheim-based club, as they took advantage of Bayern's horrid miscommunication at the back time and time again.

Abject defending was the theme of the game, with Bayern taking advantage early on. The game got off to a blistering start, with Mathys Tel right in the thick of things. The talented Frenchman opened the scoring with a fine header at the end of Thomas Müller's cross in the fourth minute. He then turned provider for Alphonso Davies who made it 2-0.

Hoffenheim then issued an excellent response to halve the deficit just two minutes later. Maximilian Beier found the back of the net after a sloppy pass from Manuel Neuer. The talented striker came close to pulling Hoffenheim back on level terms at the 30-minute mark, but this time Neuer managed to deny him.

The home side finally got their equalizer in the 68th minute, and it was Andrej Kramarić who found the back of the net. The Croatian international took advantage of more lackluster Bayern defending, and was quickest to react to Ihlas Bebou's pass.

Kramarić then completed the comeback in the 85th minute, before scoring again two minutes later for his hat-trick.

The win helped Hoffenheim qualify for Europe, while Bayern will be left to reflect on what has been a disastrous campaign. The Thomas Tuchel era comes to an end with the club's first trophyless season in 12 years, and those in charge must find answers quickly with a mountain of problems currently facing the club.
