Bayern Munich have big plans to strengthen their attacking options. They have agreed a deal with Crystal Palace for Michael Olise. Bayern also have a strong interest in PSG’s Xavi Simons as they begin negotiations with the French club.

Die Roten do not have big plans to sign a striker after the departure of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. They will consider Mathys Tel as the backup for Harry Kane next season. However, Bayern will not pass on the chance to sign a young prospect for the number nine position if an opportunity arrives in the transfer market.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern are showing interest in Barcelona striker Marc Guiu. The 18-year-old striker has a release clause worth €6 million in his contract. Chelsea are also interested in the Spanish striker.

Guiu made five appearances for Barcelona last season and scored two goals. He will be a signing for the future if Bayern decide to activate his release clause. Guiu may train with the first team in Munich, but his game time will come in the reserves team. After making debut for FC Barcelona last season, he may consider staying in Spain to play at the senior level.

Bayern have already strengthened their young attacking options by signing Nestory Irankunda from Adelaide United. The 18-year-old winger is expected to train with the senior team next season, but he will likely get playing time with the reserves.

In terms of senior attacking options, Bayern are ready to sell Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman to make space for Olise and Simons. Die Roten wants to rejuvenate the attack after a trophyless campaign. Coman is reportedly open to a transfer, but Gnabry is determined to stay in Munich and regain his best form. Rekordmeister will hope big offers arrive for both players later in the transfer window.

Olise is expected to complete a move to Bavaria in the coming days. He is part of the French squad for the Olympics in July. Meanwhile, Simons’ potential move to Bayern will gather pace after the Euros. A move for Guiu will be straightforward, provided he gives the nod to a move to Bavaria.
