Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain will have to pay around 60 million euros plus bonuses if they want to sign Désiré Doué from Rennes.

The race to sign Désiré Doué is heating up, and Bayern Munich are set to face competition from the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain as they look to get the signing of the 19 year old over the line. According to Sky Sport, Bayern are pushing to sign the winger this summer and are preparing a second bid for him.

Bayern Munich have already had one bid rejected for Désiré Doué

Rennes have set an asking price of around 60 million euros plus bonuses for the sale of Doué, who has two years left on his current contract. Talks between the club and the player are at an advanced stage, but PSG are also preparing a bid for his signature. A decision on his future could be made as early as next week.

The report adds that Vincent Kompany has already held talks with Doué and plans to play him in a variety of different attacking positions next season. Bayern had a bid in the region of 35 million euros rejected by Rennes last week. But they are not planning to give up.

Doué has emerged as Bayern's top attacking target due to the complexities of a potential move for Xavi Simons. He is primarily a winger, but is also more than capable of playing in attacking midfield. The France youth international scored four goals and assisted a further six for Rennes last season, and is now set for a big money move.
