The interest of Real Madrid in Davies is not a secret. The Spanish giants have long been rumored to be eyeing a move for the left-back, and appear to be the favorites to sign him on a free transfer next summer when his contract with Bayern expires. It has also been claimed that Davies is keen on a move to Real Madrid.

However, Manchester United have now also joined the race for his signature with Todofichajes in Spain claiming that they are going all out to sign Davies next summer.

Manchester United signed two players from Bayern Munich last summer, bringing in defenders Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui for a combined fee of 70 million euros. In addition to Davies, the English Premier League giants are also said to be interested in signing Leroy Sané and Leon Goretzka from Bayern.

Alphonso Davies joined Bayern Munich in 2019 and has established himself as an important player for the club over the years. The 23 year old is regarded as one of the best attacking left-backs in the world, but it looks increasingly likely that his future beyond the current season may lie away from Bayern.
