Manchester United eyeing moves for Bayern Munich trio
By Tushar Bahl
Manchester United could apparently look to sign as many as three players from Bayern Munich in the coming months.
The Bayern Munich futures of Leroy Sané, Leon Goretzka, and Alphonso Davies remain uncertain, and it seems that Manchester United are interested in signing the trio. According to Sky Sport, the English Premier League giants are monitoring the situation surrounding the trio.
Could Bayern Munich trio join Manchester United?
Davies and Sané will both be out of contract at the end of the season, and Manchester United could look to sign them on free transfers. Goretzka, who has fallen out of favor at Bayern Munich, still has two years left on his current contract.
Manchester United already signed two players from Bayern Munich this past summer, with Erik ten Hag bringing in Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui for a combined fee of around 70 million euros. It will be interesting to see if they look to raid the Bavarians again in the coming months.
Real Madrid are also said to be interested in signing Davies, and are said to be leading the race to bring him in on a free transfer next summer. It remains to be seen what the future holds for Sané, although a contract extension at Bayern Munich is not yet ruled out.
The same cannot be said for Goretzka, who is free to leave Bayern after falling down the pecking order for midfielders. He opted against leaving Bayern during the summer transfer window, but interest from Manchester United could tempt him to secure a move away either in January or next summer.
