Alphonso Davies coy on Bayern Munich future amid Real Madrid rumors

Alphonso Davies has commented on his future at Bayern Munich amid reports linking him with a move to Real Madrid.
With his contract expiring at the end of the current season, the future of Alphonso Davies remains uncertain. Bayern Munich would like to extend the left-back's contract and avoid losing him on a free transfer. But Real Madrid are also interested in signing Davies, and would prefer to sign him without having to pay a transfer fee.
Alphonso Davies comments on Bayern Munich future
Davies has now had his say on his future, and the Canadian international's sole focus right now is on Bayern Munich. "My full focus is on this team. I'm playing here at Bayern Munich now and that's what I'm concentrating on. I want to win every game. That's why I'm not worrying about that at the moment. Regardless of whether I stay or leave the club, I will always carry this club in my heart."
When asked whether a contract extension with Bayern Munich is still possible before the end of the season, Davies told BILD, "That's a good question, you'll have to speak to my agent. My focus right now is on winning every game. I'm not worrying about the other issue at the moment."
It was reported this past summer that Davies and Bayern were unable to reach an agreement on a new contract due to the high salary demands made by the player's entourage. It remains to be seen just how much truth there is to that claim. But talks over the 23 year old's future are currently said to be on hold.
On the pitch, Alphonso Davies remains an important player for Bayern Munich and has made five appearances this season. He has found himself competing with Raphael Guerreiro for a starting spot at left-back.
