LW: Mathys Tel  - After an underwhelming run of performances by Leroy Sané, Mathys Tel might be given the nod by Vincent Kompany to start in the upcoming game against Mainz. The 20-year-old looked sharp in his recent cameo against Shakhtar Donetsk in the UCL. Tel is yet to score for Bayern this season, and Saturday’s game could be as good a day as any to finally open his tally.

ST: Thomas Müller  - With Harry Kane still out injured, Thomas Muller is the clear favorite to start as the striker against Mainz. The 34-year-old scored Bayern’s second of the night against Shakhtar on Saturday and his performance looked much improved than his previous showings. 

RW: Michael Olise  - Following a dazzling man-of-the-match performance against Shakhtar, Michael Olise is certain to once again start at right-wing on Saturday.
