Bayern Munich will be determined to maintain their ascendancy in the Bundesliga on Friday when they go up against FC Augsburg at the Allianz Arena.

The Bavarian derby will get matchday 11 of the Bundesliga season underway as Bayern Munich go up against local rivals FC Augsburg on Friday evening. Bayern have been in fine form of late, but will be wary of an Augsburg side that has already gotten the better of Borussia Dortmund this season.

Vincent Kompany will hope for more of the same from his side, with Bayern currently on a run of four straight wins without conceding a goal in the Bundesliga. With big games against PSG, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayer Leverkusen coming up, Bayern will be keen to keep the momentum flowing with a comfortable win over Augsburg.

Jamal Musiala has been the difference maker for Bayern time and again in recent weeks. And the Germany international will be hungry to set the tone in the number ten role once again on Friday.

Joining him in attack will be the likes of Harry Kane and Michael Olise. The former will be eager to find the back of the net on Friday, having failed to score in his last two games for Bayern. Despite that, the England captain has 17 goals to his name in 16 appearances for the club this season, and was on target for his country on Sunday.
