"Fantastic coach, fantastic person" - Harry Kane on possible Thomas Tuchel reunion

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has had his say on a possible reunion with Thomas Tuchel, who is considered to be the favorite for the England manager job.

Harry Kane could be set for a reunion with Thomas Tuchel with the former Bayern Munich head coach being lined up to become the next England manager. The English FA is said to be in negotiations with the 51 year old, who parted ways with Bayern at the end of last season.

With Tuchel in the frame to become the next manager of the England national team, Kane has commented on possibly reuniting with him.

When asked by Sky Sport about the prospect of Tuchel becoming the next England manager, Kane said, "Until it's announced obviously I can't really comment, but we have to wait and see. Obviously, I know Thomas well from last year. Fantastic coach, fantastic person, so I am sure the guys at the FA will contact me, when they know more about it."

Kane is the captain and record scorer of the England national team and will likely have a crucial role to play for them at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Bayern Munich marksman helped the Three Lions reach the European Championship final this past summer, and will hope to continue to make a big impact for his national team in the coming years.

Thomas Tuchel is technically still under contract at Bayern Munich, with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season. But the English FA will not have to pay any compensation to the Bavarians if they do go through with a move for Tuchel.

It will be interesting to see how the negotiations between England and Tuchel go in the coming days. Tuchel was also linked with the Manchester United job, but he could well become the next England manager.
