Bayern Munich have a lot of work to do on incomings and departures in the next six weeks. The Bavarian club has to move a couple of fringe players to make way for new players. Bryan Zaragoza is one of the players who doesn’t feature in Vincent Kompany’s plans at Bayern for next season.

After a decent loan spell at Osasuna, Zaragoza returned to Munich earlier this summer. Bayern made it clear that he doesn’t feature in their plans by omitting him from the squad for the Club World Cup. There has been significant interest from Spain, with Celta Vigo opening talks with Bayern for a transfer.

It does look like talks with Celta Vigo have broken down. According to Kicker, Zaragoza has also rejected a move to Fenerbahce. The Spaniard prefers moving back to Spain, as there was also interest from Greece at some point this summer.

Zaragoza has also switched agents midway through the summer transfer window. Moving forward, he will be represented by LIAN Sports Agency. The Spaniard will hope a move away from Bavaria is sorted sooner rather than later so that he is well prepared for an important campaign. Zaragoza needs regular game time next season to be in contention for a place in Spain’s World Cup 2026 squad.

Bayern may have to settle for another loan move

Considering Bayern are keen to part ways with Zaragoza, their hand in negotiations has been weakened. Since Zaragoza is unlikely to join the big three in La Liga, Bayern may have to settle for another loan transfer this summer.

The transfer for Zaragoza will go down as one of the strange deals in Bayern’s history. The Spaniard never got an opportunity to impress. Injuries and lack of faith from coaches meant Zaragoza never got a run of games in the starting XI. Thomas Tuchel insisted that Zaragoza will need time to settle in the Bundesliga. The Spanish winger worked hard during his first pre-season for Die Roten only to be loaned to Osasuna. Bayern couldn’t promise him adequate game time after signing Michael Olise from Crystal Palace.

The loan move to Osasuna has certainly helped Bryan Zaragoza to regain confidence. Good performances in La Liga also helped him to get into the Spanish national team. The 23-year-old winger will hope to get a similar transfer to take his game to the next level. All parties will look to sind a solution before the start of Bayern's pre-season traini
